The Liege Tango Marathon is brought to you by true locals Sam & Jess with Tango Parigot.

Sam has been dancing tango since 2009, exploring the tango world from Buenos Aires to Türkiye and many places in between. As both a tango Magician and event organizer, he has spent years contributing to the community from different perspectives, always with the same passion: creating meaningful experiences on and off the dance floor.

What draws him to tango is the unique sensation of deep connection—with a partner, the music, the embrace, and the surrounding atmosphere. For him, tango is a space where sensitivity and authenticity are revealed. Tango does not lie; it reflects who we are in the moment.

Known as a generous social dancer, Sam embraces an eclectic vision of tango, where musical diversity, openness, and genuine encounters enrich the dance. Whether as an organizer, Magician, or participant, he is guided by three core values: quality, respect, and hospitality. His goal is simple: to create an environment where every dancer feels welcome, valued, and inspired to share unforgettable tandas.

Liège at heart, an Argentine tango dancer for over ten years, Jessy discovered in tango much more than a dance: a community, encounters, and shared emotions. Co-organizer of milongas in Brussels and co-founder of the Liège Tango Marathon, she now carries this dream in her city.
🍾 Bubble Enthusiast 🤫 Secrets Keeper Liège Native
A tango enthusiast for over 12 years, Olivier has traveled across Europe visiting numerous marathons and festivals. A former ballroom dance teacher in the United States at the Arthur Murray studio, he cultivates the art of building connections between dancers and communities.

As the organizer of the private "Apéro Tango" milonga in Paris for the past 3 years—hosting events of about 50 people with buffet and drinks—creator of the Facebook group “Where to Dance in Paris Tonight”, and founder of Tango Parigot and its weekly milonga, he draws upon a solid background in catering and event management, notably built through managing restaurants and events, including some at the Louvre Museum.

Like a Gatsby of tango, Olivier designs evenings where elegance, music, and warmth meet. A true matchmaker of connections, he puts his expertise in hospitality, organization, and human connection at the service of uniting events.

Laurent entered the tango circuit in 2016 and since then too many people can probably blackmail him... He lives in Düsseldorf where he coined and started the first Tango Partika in 2018. Beside being a party beast, he is also known for his LESPIRANT undershirt design, his Laurengino cocktails, or his Birds of Porec tango valse. He is part of Tango Young NRW.
